A couple weeks ago, I was chosen as beta tester for the second expansion, House of Wolves, for the fantastic game, Destiny, made by Bungie, Creators of the famous video game franchise Halo. This the second of many expansions to come, with this one coming out on May, 19. This time around, the expansion features a more in-depth look at the enemies known as the Fallen. In the four hours I had to play, only the Trials of Osiris and the Prison of Elders, I can safely say, that it was the most fun I’ve had since the first DLC. It is going to be better than the first DLC. Lets look at what It brings. The Trials of Osiris. The Trails of Osiris is Crucible or PvP event similar to Iron Banner, but is a 3v3 elimination type. This event only comes around from Friday till Tuesday, the weekly reset.

Now lets talk about Prison of Elders, the new end-game event. This isn’t your typical raid, mainly because it isn’t. This is a horde style, live until you die type of game mode, and unlike its other counterparts, this one is only 3 player instead of 6. You fight all the enemies in the game, Vex, Cabal, Fallen, and the Hive. Fun Fact, in early development of the game, this mode was known as the Arena.

So in conclusion, with my time in the house of wolves, I am very happy to say that I can not wait for its release on May 19. Quick run through everything, Prison of Elders, great as a horde style game type, not your traditional Bungie raid. Trails of Osiris is good for competitive yet somewhat defensive style of play, and don’t expect to see many blink shotguns. Don’t forget to visit the Reef!
