On March 8, 2014, the Students Run LA team went to The LA Convention Center Expo and after that the team went to “Palermo Ristorante Italiano.”

Seventh grade SRLA runner, Angel Ramos had so much fun because he had a chance to interact better with the other runners, but also liked hanging out with his friends. “I enjoyed getting free stuff in the Expo and I enjoyed eating, with the team while having a new experience.”

However seventh grade SRLA runner, Kayley Betancourt felt happy eating with the team, yet sad because it was going to be their last reunion with the team. “From the Expo, I had fun walking around getting a lot of free things, and from the restaurant I enjoyed tasting new types of food and having pictures for memories.”

All of the SRLA members really had fun walking around and seeing different things around the Expo. They also had fun eating all together and talking. Every single minute they had fun. From the train rides to sitting and talking. Some of the runners were taking pictures, so they could have memories being with the team. They ate pizza, spaghetti, and other different pastas and side dishes.
