Last Day of SRLA!
The SRLA team on the Disk’O Thrill Ride. They got on it many times after this one.
On May 9, 2014 the SRLA team of Animo Jefferson Middle School reunited to enjoy their time with their coaches and their team members by going to “Golf N’ Stuff.”
Seventh grade SRLA runner, Angel Ramos said, “I felt good going to our last trip with the SRLA team because we got a chance to enjoy hanging out.” Another seventh grade SRLA runner, Kayley Betancourt said, “I felt awkward because it was going to be the last time our team united.” Kayley enjoyed going to the rides because she said she felt sad and emotional.
There was Miniature Golf, Lit’l Indy Race Cars (Go-Karts), Disk’O Thrill Ride, Bumper Boats, Bumper Cars, an inside arcade full of games, and food. The team ate pizza together and had ice cream at the end. Some of them will join SRLA again but now it’s going to be different because the new seventh graders next year will be able to join the team with the new eighth graders to make new memories like this last one.
