Friday, November first, Christina Berke, teacher at Animo Jefferson Charter Middle School (AJCMS) explained the reason why teachers have meetings on Friday mornings, how do they affect the students and what do they usually do during the meeting.

“Its a great opportunity to check in with teachers and make sure we are all implementing best practicing”, said Ms. Berke.

They usually  discuss the different types of teachings, calibrate when to give demerits to the students, and they also identify the students that need extra help. The system works by departments taking turns on bringing breakfast to each other. Then, they compliment each other by giving each other shout outs.
