On October 11, eighth grader Raul Lopez and his fourth period history class won first place for Pro-Points because they got more points by choosing to have good actions.

“I learned that we should do our work, so we can then be rewarded,” said Raul.

For earning more Pro-Points than the other classes, they were rewarded with nachos and pizza. They were supposed to eat their food during a Friday lunch, but the pizza restaurant didn’t open at 10:50, so they instead at their nachos during class and ate their pizza after school.
