Preparation for the 10k (6 mile) race

Students Run LA (SRLA) was preparing for the 10k run which took place in the City of La Puente.

“I am so exited to run the race and I am confident I’m going to finish it,” said Giovanni Cezena, seventh grader.” I will finish the race because I have practiced and I’m confident and I prepare myself by running to different places,” said Isaac Mayoral, seventh grader. SRLA runners like Isaac and Giovanni practiced by running the same amount of miles the race will have.

SRLA runs to different locations to train for their races. They hope that their training will pay off in their   race.
