Two weeks ago, there was a practice lock down to get students ready in case there is a real lock down.

English teacher,Teresa Vorgias said, “From what I heard from other teachers, all students took the drill seriously. If it were a real emergency I hope students realize how serious and important this is and my job is to keep my students safe.”  Eighth grader Viviana Martinez said, “I think that in the drill we did okay because there was some people taking it seriously and some people weren’t. I would feel scared because I know there is danger around and it can harm us in the real lock down.”

The school has a lock down to prepare the students in case of a real emergency. During the lockdown, students need to be as quiet as they can and go under a desk, in order to protect themselves.
