Stranger Things is a show on Netflix about six teenagers who are trying to save their town in Hawkins, Indiana from the demogorgon. Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, and Max are regular teenagers, but on the other hand Eleven has telekinesis: the power to manipulate people, objects, and creatures. This show is set in the early 1980’s.

I really enjoyed this show because it had action. It’s fun to see Eleven and her friends fight off the bad guys when they’re in danger. When the characters come face to face with the demogorgon, you get a feeling of suspense and are eager to find out what happens next!

This show is also mysterious when it comes to the Upside Down and the Hawkins National Laboratory. The lab is run by Martin Brenner and his employees. They took Eleven away from her mother at birth, to study and develop her psychokinetic skills by opening the gate to the Upside Down. When Eleven escaped from the lab, Mike took her into his home to keep her safe. The Upside Down is a strange and suspicious place that makes you intrigued because you want to learn more about it and how it works. As the episodes go by, you start to realize and understand how the lab, demogorgon, and the Upside Down are connected!

Finally, I loved this show because it had comedy and drama which makes the show even more exciting! Eleven’s friend group is very funny and always making jokes, especially Dustin, but when it comes to life or death decisions they don’t fool around. They also have school drama because of bullies and relationships! I recommend this show to  people that love strange mysteries because at some point in the show you feel like a detective!
