Where’s My Koala?!
Seventh and Eighth grade history teacher Gabriela Dampier was shocked to find out that her koala Lola went missing on November 27.
Dampier said, “I was a little worried but I figured that someone took it as a joke and they would eventually give it back.”
Dampier had left her room to help out the running team and left her room unlocked. When she returned, she noticed that her koala was missing. Dampier suspected eighth grader, Raul Lopez, since they recently were in an argument and he swore vengeance. The next week, Dampier was SHOCKED to find out that the assistant principal, Jaime Carbajal, was the one who koala-napped Lola and said she would have never suspected him. Carbajal took Lola to teach Dampier a lesson to not leave the door open while she is not in the classroom. He completey forgot to tell Dampier about it until she told him about it.
