Queen Elizabeth is the Queen of England! She was born on April 21, 1926 at Mayfair, London, United Kingdom. The queen is currently 95 years old! Queen Elizabeth has been queen since she was 25 years old. She married Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh at the age of 21. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was the only husband the queen has ever had. The Queen has ruled for longer than any other monarch in British history, becoming a person that many people respect and love across the world.
There are lots of things the queen does that you don’t notice. One of the things she does that many people don’t notice is she carries her purse everywhere she goes. You may be wondering what signs she gives to her staff with her purse! The queen has lots of signs she sends to her staff, according to a Bright Side video. When the queen is talking to someone, she starts to shift her bag, which means that she is ready to finish the conversation. Another sign the queens gives to her staff is putting her purse on the floor. This means that the queen isn’t enjoying the conversation. This can be an ominous sign for you. The queen putting her purse on the dinner table tells her staff she wants the event to be wrapped up within five minutes. The last one mentioned by the video made by Bright Side is the Queen ring-twisting her bag. This sign means she needs immediate “rescue”!
There are other fun facts about the queen. According to National Geographic Kids, she is allowed to drive without a license! Also, her birthplace has changed ownership and uses and is now a Cantonese restaurant. Now that’s something everyone would like to have! Lastly, the queen has two birthdays!
From using her purse in situations, to her birthplace being a Cantonese restaurant, the queen has shown us that there is way more to her life that people don’t know or yet have realized.
