Mr.Finer wins the Diva Run
Teacher Carl Finer is running in the Diva Half Marathon.Eventually Finer ended up winning.
On December 8, 2013 Animo Jefferson Middle School female teachers and one male teacher completed the Diva Half Marathon in Ontario,California.
Teacher Carl Finer ended up winning the half marathon. He experienced something new and felt really proud. “At first it was like just running, But then when I saw other male runners taking it seriously it turned into a race,” Finer said.
Finer felt awkward being one of the few male runners in a sea of female runners. However he showed good sportsmanship and really enjoyed being a leader. He also had a great experience leading others and he can’t wait for future upcoming events like this one.
