Why you should try your best on the SBAC
The Golden Ticket field trip
It’s always okay to do your best, especially on the SBAC. Trying your best on the SBAC not only helps your score improve but will help you get a chance to go to a Golden Ticket field trip at AJMS.
The Golden Ticket is only given to the students who try their best on the SBAC, who use their scratch paper, and who take down notes. Soon after meeting the expectations, you would be rewarded with an envelope with a random ticket. The envelope may contain the golden ticket or a prize like chips, candy or even a toy. There are limited golden tickets and when the SBAC ends there will be a raffle and an announcement saying the people who won the field trip.
Some students who went on a Golden Ticket field trip left a review:
Victor Marcellez said, “I enjoyed the trip to Golf-n-Stuff because it was fun and cause I spent time with some of my friends away from school. My friends and I went to the arcade, rode the go-karts and also rode the bumper boats, and of course we went to go play mini golf. My favorite thing we did was playing golf because we were competing with each other and going around the course.”
Also Eduardo Teodores said, “My trip to Golf-n-Stuff was fun because I got to hangout with my friends and go to the go-karts and the bumper boat things. We went to the arcade and played golf, we ate pizza coke and ice cream that tastes like Nesquik and other stuff, like playing on the golf course. My favorite thing was being able to spend time with my friends and overall having fun with them.”
These students were able to go on this trip for showing all of their effort on the SBAC. Also the Golden Ticket trips change during the years, like the previous golden ticket trip was to Round One, a bowling alley with an arcade. AJMS will later figure out what other fun places to go to. So that’s why you should try your best on the SBAC: to get a chance to win a fun field trip away from school.
