New unit for seventh grade science

On February 10, Vanessa D’Amico and Lora Walters started a new unit about reproduction because it is going to be on the California Standards Test (CST).
“I feel okay, comfortable because I have taught a health class before and I figured out the more serious I take it the more serious the students will take the subject.”, said D’Amico.
Students will learn all about the male and female reproduction cycle and how diseases are transmitted. Students had to take a paper home confirming that the parents let their child learn about reproduction.Teachers did this to give parents the freedom to teach their kids themselves the concept.
