“[The] most important lesson I have learned is to choose your friends wisely and it won’t really matter if you’re popular. You really only need a couple friends, friends who you can trust, who encourage you, and wanna see you accomplish things. And not friends who will bring you down, discourage you, and encourage you to make bad decisions and get you in trouble. I tried everything to fit in and to not be lonely and didn’t choose them wisely. I just wanted to know what it felt like to have friends, whether they were good friends or not. They weren’t a good example but I listened to them and got peer pressured knowing I could get in trouble.”
