Betsy’s first communion party is a step a lot of young Catholic kids go through around the ages of 13-15. This means that they celebrate the last supper and it’s another step to connect more with God. At Saint Patrick’s Church the priests gave Betsy a Communion bread, which represents the body of God, and a cup of wine, which represents the blood of God. At her party the guests ate food, threw money and danced to celebrate this big accomplishment.
