Have you ever wondered how people end up homeless?
Well, people who are homeless have different stories to share to the world. Homeless people can end up homeless in many ways such as because of addictions, family problems, rent, domestic violence, inflation and mental health.
According to LosAngelesMission, there are 58,936 people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles County, 6 out of 10 are experiencing homelessness for the first time, 75% lack places permanent shelter, 3 out of 5 struggle with disabilities, and 5% percent of people experiencing homelessness are fleeing because of domestic violence.
We walked around the 90011 area and interviewed homeless people and asked people what they think about homelessness. They decided to share interesting stories with us on Bulldog Bugle.
(This was done by trained professionals and there were adults nearby, so do not try this in your area. Especially do not talk to someone who has a weapon like a needle with them.)
