“I like teaching English because when I was in school it was my favorite subject. My high school teacher Mr. McIntyre inspired me to start teaching. In college I majored in English and planned to become a journalist because I wrote for the school newspaper. I’m still interested in journalism and that’s why I think what you guys do at the Bulldog Bugle is so important. Other things I like are video games and my cat. I like to play the game Overwatch but my favorite game of all time is Animal Crossing. It’s comforting and reminds me of my childhood and I think everyone should keep enjoying things that made them happy when they were a kid. Don’t lose interest in the things that you like even if you think it might be embarrassing.”
