“I don’t think this is a good school mostly because of the kids. They don’t care what teachers have to say. For example, if the teachers ask them not to do something, they will go ahead and do it anyway because they don’t care. Something I think that staff could do better is to be more attentive to the kids. I think that’s important because if teachers and staff didn’t pay attention to the kids then fights would break out and rumors would start to spread. I think that the teachers yell too much for no reason. I think that’s mostly because they are having a hard and stressful day so they take all that anger out by screaming. A school rule I don’t like is that we can’t wear hoodies, because even if we have a hoodie on people can still see our faces. Although I don’t like the school, I like the fact that the school has a counselor room where they try and make sure that kids are mentally okay. A favorite teacher of mine is Ms. Thomas. She is my favorite teacher because she makes sure that we are ok and doesn’t go straight to assuming we are not doing the work. Something that I think people will not know just by looking at me is that I am a very nice person once you get to know me.”
