Adolencents involved with drugs
Adolescents are getting drugs so easily worldwide by families or teens in their own school.
Newton Division Officer Guillermo Calleros said, “About more than thousands of reports, tens of thousands. Mainly involved with Meth, Cocaine, and Marijuana.”
Drugs are mostly brought to the United States by the Mexican Cartels and they’re getting through the border in secret compartments of vehicles using tunnels. At a certain part, they are distributed by a network that involves gang members.
Adolescents are getting exposed to drugs by family members that are involved with drugs. Some adolescents in school influence other teens to take the drugs, and sometimes even for free.
It depends on the drugs the adolescents take. Drugs affect teens by killing memory cells, making adolescents have slow minds. Drugs like Meth affect the skin of an adolescent including their body.
To stop drug trafficking our community can teach teens and others how to say “No” to drugs. Calleros said that it’s like a business like trying to sell a soda, without advertisement they wouldn’t get any purchases.
