Who won who lost the greendot awards?
On March 15, Carl Finer, Gabriela Dampier, Gabriela Cervantes, and Andrew Figueroa were finalists at Skirball Cultural Center of Los Angeles.
“I felt very honored to be nominated and I thank Ms. Foulkes for acknowledging the work that I do,” Cervantes said. Cervantes has been nominated twice but it’s her first time winning.
“Everyone from the school was clapping and I was shaking and it didn’t feel real,” said Finer.
Dampier attended to the event but didn’t unfortunately receive an award. Cervantes received an award for counselor of the year. Finer received an award for personal responsibility. Figueroa won an award for classified employee of the year.
