Many popular old franchises are being revived.  Here are some that are coming back:

 

 

The Wonderfully Weird World Of Gumball 

The Amazing World of Gumball was a TV show streamed on Cartoon Network and made by Ben Bocquelet.  It ran for six seasons with a total of 250 episodes. It started on May 3, 2011 and ended on June 25, 2019. The show was about the life of Gumball Watterson, a blue cat, and his adopted brother Darwin Watterson, a goldfish, as well as their family and their life in school and their weird adventures. On May 19, 2025 after six years the cartoon network announced The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, which is supposed to act like the seven season.

 

Phineas and Ferb

Disney Phineas and Ferb returns for a fifth season.

 

Phineas and Ferb is an animated musical-comedy television series made by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh. It was first released on August 17, 2007 and finished on June 12, 2015, with a total of 189 episodes. It was about a kid named Phineas and his step brother Ferb and how they build weird inventions and their sister tries to bust them to their mom. There’s also a side story about Phineas and Ferbs’ platypus named Perry the Platypus and an evil scientist named Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz fighting.

The fifth season of Phineas and Ferb is set to premiere on Disney Channel and on Disney XD on June 5, 2025 and on Disney Plus on June 6. This new season is supposed to continue another 104 days of summer vacation that the stepbrother has to tackle.                                                                                                           

 

Regular Show: The Lost Tapes                                                          

 

The Regular Show is a TV show streamed on Cartoon Network made by J. G. Quintel that was released on September 6, 2010 and finished on January 16, 2017, running for a total of 244 episodes. The show was about the daily lives of a blue jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby. They work as groundskeepers at a park and mostly spend their days avoiding work by any means. A new Regular Series is in the works and will be called “Regular Show: Lost Tapes” It dives into unseen adventures and stories that take place within the original series timeline. It is expected to release in 2025.
