According to Hindustan Times Tech, “Apple pulled off Fortnite from the App Store after Epic Games slipped in a new payment method for players in-game to avoid paying Apple the 30% fee it charges for in-app purchases.” With Epic Games breaking Apple’s policies, this led to legal disputes between the two companies. Epic Games argued that apple’s 30% commission was unfair and that apple was treating the app store like a monopoly.

According to Hindustan Times Tech, “If you had downloaded the game in the past, you can reinstall it and if you still have it on your device, you can play it.” This means that if you were lucky enough to download Fortnite before it was removed you were still able to re-install it.

Eighth grade student Ramon Chavez shared his opinion on Fortnite returning. “I’m happy that Fortnite has returned since I can play it no matter where I am now. What I dislike is that now you don’t get as many frames per second as before”
Jeremy Urbina, another eighth grade student, shared how he feels about Fortnite returning to IOS. “I’m glad that Fortnite came back to IOS because instead of me having to wait to get home, I can launch the game on my phone and do the challenges to finish the battle pass and play anywhere.”
Alan Huitzil stated how he feels about Fortnite coming back. “I am happy that it is back because I can play anywhere I want. I can also play with my friends wherever I am.”
Gael Rios told his opinion on Fortnite coming back. “I think it’s Lowkey mid, I think this because it has new buttons and sometimes in the middle of the game it kicks you out.”
