Veronica Lopez talks about what’s like being a parent. Veronica mentions that being a parent is not easy. Veronica says she’s grateful for her experience of being a mother of four kids. She also mentions that shes happy that she has a healthy household.

Desiree Rivera: Hello I’m Desiree Rivera and I am here with my mom Veronica. Can you introduce yourself?
Veronica Lopez: Hello my name is Veronica Lopez I’m 36 years old.
DR: Thank you.
DR: What do you feel most grateful for in your life?
VL: Something I feel most grateful for in life is my kids because I thank god for having a healthy family. Umm I’m grateful for having the life I have. I’m grateful for having the chance of being the mother of four kids, two boys and two girls.
DR: If you could hold onto one memory from your life forever, which one would it be?
VL: The memory I would hold on forever would be my kids since I had them in my stomach also starting the first day of kindergarten. Umm, seeing them growing up transferring to elementary, to middle school, to high school.
DR: How has your life been different than what you’d imagined?
VL: My life has been different then I have ever imagined, I never imagined what my life would be like after going to college and ending up being a house wife and a mother of 4 kids. I’m a stay at home wife but I have a wonderful partner, a hard working man that I have the opportunity to stay at home and be a house wife. He also provides for my kids and I.
DR: What does your future hold?
VL: My future holds for me is to travel to meet new places and new adventures in life.
DR: What are your hopes for me?
VL: My hopes for you to see you graduate from middle school, high school and then going to college, also graduating college and turning to be a successful beautiful woman.
DR: What are your dreams for me?
VL: My dreams for you will be having your own job, being a homeowner and having your own car.
DR: Are you proud of me?
VL: Yes I’m proud of you because you are a respectful young woman, you are a beautiful young woman and an intelligent young woman.
DR: Can you tell me the story of when you first saw me?
VL: When I first saw you there were a lot of emotions. You were a desired baby, you’re my rainbow baby. After I had a miscarriage I always desired a baby girl and god provided me with a wonderful beautiful baby girl.
DR: How has being a parent changed you in what type of ways?
VL: Being a parent has changed me by knowing It’s not only me, first then anything is my kids. I have to take care of 4 little humans. I have to be responsible and educate you.
DR: What were you most surprised of by being a parent?
VL: What I was most surprised by being a parent is that all kids are different, by the stages they grow kids have different personalities. You guys teach me how to be a parent, you guys teach me how to be better. Also being a parent is not easy it’s not how you raise the children it’s how you educate the children.
