NASA is thinking of tracking all asteroids
NASA is thinking of tracking and detecting incoming asteroids in order to make sure Earth is protected.
Seventh grader Ariana Flores said, “Obviously yes because they could know if the Earth is in danger or not. If they know the earth is in danger then they could think of something to protect us.”
“They should because it’s to save people and nobody wants to die,” said seventh grader Veronica Lopez.
In February 2013 an undetected asteroid exploded over Russia this caused NASA to want to stay alert and figure out when an asteroid is going to hit. NASA has estimated that about 1% of millions of asteroids that are around our solar system have been found.
