Are movies just movies?
It is true that movies are made for people to watch, but do they have a special meaning to people?
Different movies this year have grabbed the attention of many students from different grade levels in many different ways. Most of these movies were really interesting, action-packed, or hilarious.
For example sixth grader Ekaba Rodriguez said, “I really liked the movie Divergent because it had lots of action and was really interesting.”
Six grader Vanesa Ayala said that her favorite movie this year is “Rio 2.” The reason she likes it is because there is a lot of singing in it.
Seventh grader Yesenia Fuentes said, that her favorite movie this year was “The Amazing Spiderman 2.” She liked this movie because the characters changed and got a lot older. Also because the movie got interesting.
Eighth grader Jasmin Ramirez said, that she also liked “Rio 2.” She liked this movie because in her opinion it was funny and adorable.
Eighth grader Isabel Tovar said that in her opinion, “Need for Speed” was the best movie she has seen because it is one of the first racing movies to come out after Paul Walker’s death and the end of the Fast and the Furious series.
However everyone has their own opinion, what is yours?
Not only because the movies may be interesting to some, but when going to the theater there can also be some advice that you may consider taking.
Isabel said that when going to the theater, she would really like for people to turn off their cellphones and to not snore while the movie is playing.
The next time that you go to the theater, you may consider following these advises because you may disturb others while at the movies.
