Eighth grade reactions: Knott’s Berry Farm
On June first, eighth grade students will be heading out to Knott’s Berry Farm for their graduation field trip.
To decide where the eighth grade students will go as a field trip they voted during advisory. Many of the students didn’t want to go to Knott’s they wanted to go to Six Flags, but when the votes came in the majority of the students were in favor of Knott’s Berry Farm.
They don’t have to worry about how they are going to go. Everything is organized by Teresa Argueta, an eighth grade English teacher who is the main person in charge of the eighth grade events.
Most of the eighth graders who are going are excited to go because it’s the last time they have to spend time with their friends in middle school. Eighth grader, Oswaldo Sanchez, said “I’m excited to go and to spend time with some of my closest friends I had throughout my three years of middle school”.
The other eighth graders who are going for the extreme of the rides. Andree Ponce, an eighth grader, said he is in it for the coolest rides they offer in Knott’s.
Then there are the eighth graders who don’t feel so well about the field trip. Eighth grader Fernando Carbajal was not really in it for the rides. He said, “I’m not a fan of rides the reason of me going is to spend time with my friends and maybe go on some few rides.
This is the last event eighth graders will be attending to until the next day which is culmination. Some eighth graders are excited and some feel different about going to Knott’s Berry Farm.
