What makes a good scholar?

Every month, Student Council Advisors collaborate to give out three different student of the month awards: The Academic Award, The Animo Award, and The Most Improved Award.

Student Council President Ayla Martinez said that these awards are given to students that show outstanding behavior, a great amount of school pride, or an improvement in academic and/or social skills.  The names of the winners of these awards are usually announced by Student Council staff during the morning announcements or by school staff.

Each month, the awards go to a different student than the previous one.
