The Kissing Booth is relatable to teens
The Kissing Booth is a great movie. The actors are really good which makes it seem as if this movie was real and someone was just recording it. There were betrayals and drama in the movie which added a excitement to the movie. There were also things the characters didn’t know about the other characters, which also added more drama.
The Kissing Booth was based on a girl, Elle, and her best friend, Lee. Elle has had a crush on Lee’s brother, Noah, for a long time now. Noah is a popular kid at school and is a player, which makes Elle think that he will never be interested in her. Little does she know that he actually likes her. Elle has always held herself back for many reasons, but the main one is that Elle and Lee made rules when they were younger and the biggest one to Lee is his family are off limits for dating.
The Kissing Booth has a very different format. Unlike other movies where the characters go through a rough time and then be happy, in The Kissing Booth it goes from rough, to happy, to rough, and then happy again.
In my opinion, The Kissing Booth is one of the best movies I have ever seen because as a teen I can kind of relate to what is going on. For example, in the movie she really wants to have her first kiss and a relationship and when people are around that age they want to experience those things. Also she sees that high school is way different than when she was a kid. When they were kids they would hang out all the time together and now that they have grown up her best friend Lee is always choosing to hand out with his girlfriend instead of her, even though she has been there for him this whole time.
Will she risk the relationship with her best friend for Noah?
