The wealthiest people to ever exist

Every time you buy something online on Amazon, you are supporting one of the world’s wealthiest people. And if you are thinking about buying an electric car, you may be supporting Tesla. Almost every day you buy something that makes the wealthy more wealthy. Wealthy people tend to live a lavish life. They make it seem like they could afford anything. Most wealthy people are either an influencer or they’re leaders. Wealthy people today make money off items you tend to buy. 

Tesla

Tesla is a company that is run and owned by Elon Musk. He is currently the richest or wealthiest person today. He has a net worth of $250 billion dollars! And the numbers are still rising. Even with all his wealth, Elon Musk is still constantly working. On Tesla’s website it says, “Elon Musk co-founded and leads Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink and The Boring Company. As the co-founder and CEO of Tesla, Elon leads all product design, engineering and global manufacturing of the company’s electric vehicles, battery products and solar energy products.” This means that he helped start and now leads all these companies listed. He also leads all the designing, engineering and manufacturing of the cars that Tesla companies come up with and according to the site he does much more with his other companies. Emperors and Kings

Some of the wealthiest people to exist may have been from the past. I feel as if it isn’t talked about very much so I am here to talk about it. On Market Watch, or shown below, there is an image that allows you to see some of the richest people to exist.  Three of these people that seem to especially fascinate me.

First is Augustus Caesar, who was an emperor of Rome and got most his money from Egypt, slaves, and land. He conquered Egypt, which was a big part of the economy back then, and so that did make up a lot of his wealth.

King Solomon, a king who was known for his wealth, would receive 25 tons of gold as tribute. Though this seems like a lot of money that still wasn’t close to all his wealth. He was worth $2.2 trillion dollars from trade and business.

I would say that the most famous of these three is Mansa Musa. Although he wasn’t as rich as them he had so much gold that it didn’t matter. He alone could cause hyperinflation when passing by Egypt. This means that the prices would go up by a lot.

Jeff Bezos 

Net Worth: $200B (Amazon)

Jeff Bezos is an entrepreneur who is the owner and founder of Amazon. He is also the the CEO of Blue Origin, a private space company. Most of his income comes from Amazon. HIs net worth is currently around $200 billion but the numbers are constantly changing.

Bernard Arnault & family

NetWorth: 193.8B (LVHM)

Bernard Arnault is the CEO of Louis Vuitton. Louis Vuitton is a clothing and luxury goods brand. Most of his money comes from Louis Vuitton.  

So those were some of the wealthiest people to ever exist. Of course there’s more wealthy people that exist that I didn’t mention but that was because there are too many of them. So now you know if you’re buying something, you may be supporting one of the wealthiest people today.
