Student Council Officer of Public Relations Tannya Yebra is looking attentively at the game. She said, "Of course I enjoyed the tournament, I loved it!" Tannya also helped set up the tournament for others to enjoy the tournament as much as she did.

 On January 17, Student Council hosted a basketball tournament at Animo Jefferson Charter Middle School to create more opportunities for students who like sports to be able to participate at events and to show that AJCMS has all kinds of events for all kinds of interests.

Advisor, Gabriela Dampier said, “I think that students enjoyed themselves at the basketball tournament because the audience looked really entertained by the game and the basketball players obviously had fun playing against their peers…”

Dampier also said that a lot of students have been requesting another tournament in the future, which can increase the possibilities of having another soccer tournament and/or basketball tournament.
