On February 20, 2014, the class of eighth graders went on their first eighth grade field trip to an Anne Frank play.

Eighth grader Miguel Mendez said, “I didn’t go to the trip but I wish I could have gone.”

The play took place in La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. The field trip was from 11:30am-4:00pm. Students went to first, second, third period and first lunch. After lunch students stayed in the lunch area.

There were expectations for the field trip. Eighth graders must wore their uniforms, including lanyards containing their merit, demerit, and ID. Students were not allowed to bring food or drinks, only water was allowed. Students were with their chaperon at all times, they could not leave their groups.
