What do you already know about the Israel and Palestine war? Well today I will be informing you on true information on this war and why it is affecting people in Palestine and Israel.
On October 7, 2023 a group in Palestine called Hamas, led by Yahya Sinwa, launched an attack on Israel killing over 300 people. The Hamas group sent a lot of troops on ground and underground. Israel was shocked and fired back many missiles at the Gaza Strip (an area next to Israel) and killed a lot of Palestinians, according to Cnn.com.
Lots of Palestinians are being killed by rockets and being shot by Israeli troops. Over 12,254 Palestinians have died since October 11. A lot of people are in danger and or seeking help for any nearby refugees.
Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians evacuated northern Gaza ahead of the Israeli invasion; nearly 400,000 people are trapped in fear with their kids. Many Palestinians and Israelis are scared that rockets might hit their homes or get attacked by troops in their hometown, according to Cnn 10.
Since the war is becoming a huge problem in the Gaza Strip, Palestinians are walking for hours from the northern part of the region to the safer part in the south with their hands up, encountering Israeli troops. Some were lucky to flee early but many have died in airstrikes, according to the New York Times.
Lots of Israelis are being held hostage by Hamas groups and Israelis are trying to get to those hostages but the Hamas group has been sending rockets to cities.
Why am I sharing this information? I am sharing this information to inform you of true information and not false information, which has been spreading. Also to be alert on what is happening world-wide – there have been a lot of false accusations about this war and to tell you why sometimes war is not the answer.
In conclusion the Israeli war is becoming really brutal and everyone should be aware that this is happening and a lot of innocent lives are being taken away and a lot of people are being assassinated due to this war.
