“I became a historian when I switched my major to history at my college, which was Pepperdine University, and I just did that because I realized that I didn’t want to have a job where I can just make as much money as possible, I wanted a job that I actually enjoy. And that’s when I switched my major because I wanted to take history classes because that was interesting and entertaining to me and I wanted to teach history because that’s what I like and I wanted to do something I like.”
