On February 19, Animo Jefferson Charter Middle School hosted an award ceremony at the gymnasium.

Eighth grader Hugo Eguizabal said, “I feel good getting my awards because I didn’t expect I was doing this good in school.”

Hugo won the Achievement Award, which is not receiving any D’s or F’s within the first semester. He also received the Attendance Award, which is having perfect attendance within the first semester.

Eighth grader Kimberly Quintero said, “I feel proud that I didn’t get D’s and F’s in the first semester.” Kimberly received the Achievement Award.
