Eighth grade events are going to be taken place throughout May and June.

Eighth grader, Carol Garcia said, “I am really excited for all the events going on because these events are our last ones together at this school before our promotion.”

Starting May 28-30 the finals will be taken. They will be taken from 7:45am-3:00pm based on regular schedules. Promotion practice will be at Henry Clay Middle School from 8:00am-12:00pm, on May 30. May 30 is also the eighth grade dance. The dance will be from 7:00pm-10:00pm at the Ahmanson Senior Citizen Center. The cost of the dance is $25. June 2 will be the eighth graders trip to Knotts Berry Farm. The cost of the trip is $45. It will be from from 7:45am-8:00pm. June 3 is the promotion. The students qualified for promotion must meet at school at 3:00pm to load the buses. Students promoting must ride the bus. The gates open up at 6:00pm.

In order to participate in the events students can not get suspended as of May 9. Students also can not be sent to the office  by a teacher as of May 23.
