How do you celebrate Thanksgiving?
November 27th is usually celebrated with ham and turkey, but do all people celebrate it the same way?
Many people don’t celebrate it with their family they gather up in a friend’s house instead.
Math teacher Thomas Lo said, “I sometimes celebrate Thanksgiving with immediate or extended family.” According to Lo sometimes he doesn’t eat turkey, instead he eats tied cuisine. Lo explained that this is a type of food they have from where he is from.
History teacher Sehrish Jamshed said she had her brother come from India and show him around LA and also explained to him what Black Friday was.
Jamshed and her family celebrated in the valley which is an hour away from here.
Jamshed explained that they always get together in the same place every year. Jamshed and her family doesn’t like turkey so they ate chicken instead with mash potatoes and dessert.
