Information & Details about the New Stadium in Inglewood

The Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers are getting a new state of the art stadium. It is located in Inglewood, California. The Stadium is going to be home both the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. The stadium should be finished by 2019 but will be delayed by one whole year and will be ready by the 2020-2021 NFL Season. The Stadium cost $2.6-billion dollars.

WHY ARE THEY BUILDING A NEW STADIUM

The Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers are getting a new state of the art stadium because they both moved here from other cities. The Rams moved to Los Angeles because St. Louis (The Rams former home) did not want to build them a new stadium. The Chargers moved to Los Angeles because San Diego (The Chargers former home) did not wanted to improve Jack Murphy Stadium or build them a new one.

WHERE ARE THEY CURRENTLY PLAYING

The Los Angeles Rams are currently playing in Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. They will play there until the new stadium is complete. The Los Angeles Chargers are currently playing in the Stub Hub Center, home of the LA Galaxy. The Los Angeles Chargers are going to play in the Stub Hub Center until The Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park is finished.

THE EXPERIENCE AT THE LOS ANGELES STADIUM AT HOLLYWOOD PARK

With a new stadium on the way, the experience should be better right? The stadium is going to have a beautiful glass roof which will let fans look at the beautiful sky in Southern California. The new stadium will also have a new state of the art scoreboard that will wrap around the entire stadium. This won’t just be any stadium this stadium will be like a dome but with one side wide open.

It will also have a Performing Arts Venue. The 6,000-seat performing arts venue will be a state-of-the-art facility for concerts, performances and civic events. It will also have a Champions Plaza, which is a 2-acre public plaza located between the stadium and the performing arts venue. The plaza is a lobby for the two venues and can accommodate outdoor performances.
