Animo Jefferson students from Students Run LA (SRLA) had to run to many far places during practice to become better runners and teachers have many concerns about this.In order to run far places the students have to earn the coach’s trust. SRLA coach,Carl Finer said that it depends if the students know and understand the expectations. “The mission states that students expand their learning and see new things,”Finer said. SRLA coach, Erika Rodriguez thinks that the students need to work on being mature because their actions can affect others.” Based on the student’s untrusable actions, I think they have to work on being responsible,”Rodriguez said. Students have to earn  trust based on practice and showing that they can be safe and responsible. So far, the students have ran to Sears, Carver Middle School, San Pedro, and Little Tokyo. The coaches decided to run to many places because they want to make practice fun and not boring by only running in the same location.
