Enjoying sunset at my stop for the night: the Blue Swallow Motel in Tecumcari, New Mexico. During my night here, I met the brand new owners from Chicago, who fell in love with the place and were signing the transfer papers with the original owner that night. The Cadillac came with the property, but the deed stipulates that the car must stay in town. For most of my cross country drive, I took historic Route 66.
