LM:  Yeah, we became friends at third. We didn’t like each other much in second grade for no reason actually. Why didn’t we like each other?  No, cause I remember I used to hang out with my part of the friends and then you would hang out with your part of the friends.
SZ:  We had the similar group.
LM:  But we just didn’t hang out with each other.
SZ:  Yea.
LM:  Until third grade we started talking. Yea, ok, so, um, how is friends, how is it being friends with me?
SZ:  It’s really, like, really exciting. You showed me a different part of the world, of this world-
LM:  I’m not sure if you’re using sarcasm or not.  [Laughs]
SZ:  No, I’m not using sarcasm.  [Laughs]
LM:  Ok, um, let’s see, what was your childhood like?
SZ:  With you?
LM:  Yeah, with me.
SZ:  Well-
LM:  Since we spend most of our childhood together-
SZ:  Really, really, really exciting. No sarcasm there. [laughs]  It was really exciting, coming over to your house each day after school, going places. Really exciting.
LM:  Oh yeah huh, during elementary, it was pretty fun. We started, uh, in fifth grade, we started talking a lot more, well kinda, cause I used to hang out, um, with Kenya and Ivanna, and then you would hang out with Natalie and Jessica, I think, yea?
SZ:  we were part of the same friend group, so I guess. Um, but yea, there were most years where we don’t talk to each other, but we still remain friends, we just aren’t that close.
LM:  Yea, but now look at us, our comeback-
SZ:  That, that, that –
LM:  In middle school –
SZ:  Yea, you’re my only friend now, so I don’t really, can’t really be with anyone else.
LM:  Yeah, um, let’s see what other good questions can I ask you?  Um, what’s your favorite memory of us? Or like what’s your favorite memory of your childhood?
SZ:  Um, I don’t really know. What’s yours?
LM:  Um, well I, I like the, when we went to go buy ice cream and then we took like pictures.I think it was like last weekend. Except for the fact-
SZ:  Out of all of our memories, you choose that one.
LM:  Except for the fact, that the lady scammed us, when we bought the chips, But it’s fine, it’s fine, it’s fine. We still got our ice cream though.
SZ:  [mumbles] May karma get her.
LM:  [Laughs]
SZ:  Anyways. [Laughs]
LM:  Anyways, um.
SZ:  I think, um, what makes us close, despise us being very different from the outside is the inside, like, from the outside we are very different, your very loud and exciting, while I’m on the calmer and quieter side, um, but in the same time we have many similar interest, like the things we do in our alone time and just, yea, things we do in our alone time and things we like.
LM:  Yea, it’s honestly very fun being friends with you, kinda, well, kinda, cause we don’t really hang out that much.
SZ:  Yea, I think that’s what makes our, like, bond, like kinda, more stronger that we don’t text or hang out that much but we’re still really strong and we tell every, each other everything.
LM:  Yea, cause I remember when, in sixth grade, you used to want to teach me division, cause I forgot in fifth grade. And –
SZ:  Oh yea, we help each other out on everything and we tell each other everything.
LM:  Yea, and it’s just  [laughs]  very funny, cause we have a bunch of funny memories and, oh, I remember when your dad came over, and he took us to go buy things for our hair.  [Laughs]
SZ:  Oh yea –
LM:  Before school started –
SZ:  Yeah, we wanted to be cool and show, and show our quote on quote, new look. Um, so we wasted a lot of money on our hair thing.
LM:  Did you like your hair after all of that?
SZ:  No.
LM:  [laughs]
SZ:  And I kept dying it and bleaching it. It was awful.
LM:  Oh, you even cut your own bangs [laughs]
SZ:  [laughs]
LM:  [laughs]
SZ:  Oh my god.
LM:  Dude, I haven’t even realized that you cut your own bangs until the picture.
SZ:  Oh yeah, and then, we used to play with slime and then one time it got in your hair.
LM:  Oh yeah –
SZ:  And you cut it.
LM:  I had to cut it-
SZ:  While I had, while I used cocoa cola to wash it off.
LM:  [laughs]
SZ:  And then, and then I did cut it, to be honest, I did cut it for you so.
LM:  Yeah, you kept on telling me to go take a shower and that it will wash away, but I was impatient, and I just, And I just cut it off. It wasn’t like after a week that my mom noticed  that I cut my hair. I, I, You know what? It honestly was a blessing for me cause I had like pink tips, It was so ugly, cause you took a picture of me with  like slime on my face.
SZ:  [Laughs]
LM:  [Laughs]  and yea, I just, I feel much, more, better with my hair.
SZ:  Yeah, your new hair cut really looks nice.
LM:  Yeah, um, oof, I think I ran out of questions, um, what, what was your best adventure?
SZ:  With us?
LM:  Well, just you generally.
SZ:  Um, going all around the block, from jack in the box, to dollar tree, to school, everywhere.
LM:  [laughs] everywhere?
SZ:  [inaudible] walking around.
LM:  I hate walking around the school, It’s so hot, especially right now.
SZ:  Yeah.
LM:  Well, what’s your favorite season?
SZ:  Um, winter.
LM:  Why?
SZ:  Because, I like cold, cold, so like, then I could snuggle up in my bed.
LM:  Exactly.
SZ:  But the thing is that we live in California, so, not really any snow.
LM:  I know, if we were on the higher part, like Oregon, it’ll be a whole different story.
SZ:  Yea.

SZ:  One time when you went, we were talking about sneaking me in, so that you can take me to Oregon.
LM:  Oh yeah. [laughs]
