A great place to go so the whole family can have fun are ice skating rinks, especially right now during winter. They are many convenient and affordable rinks to go to right here in Los Angeles or near by.

One place in particular that is very affordable is the Pasadena Ice Skating Center.  The general admission cost $9.00, plus the additional skate rental price of $4.00.  The days that it is open to the public may vary, but you can schedule skating lessons.

Another ice skating rink that is popular is the Queen Mary outdoor skating rink. The general Admission is $29.95, and yes it’s a little bit more on the pricey side, but you’ll have a lovely time.

Last but not least, one very well known and popular place to go skating is Pershing Square. Pershing Square is located in the center of Downtown LA on 532 South Olive Street. It has a very low admission price of $6. It is open from 12pm to 6pm every day until January 20, 2014.
