Review of “The House Of Hades”
The House of Hades is an amazing book written by none other than Rick Riordan. Rick Riordan is well known for his Percy Jackson and the Olympians series concluding Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titan’s Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth, and The Last Olympian. He then continued to include Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood in the second series The Heroes of Olympus with new characters Hazel Levesque, Piper McLean, Jason Grace, Nico di Angelo, and Leo Valdez.
The House of Hades is the fourth book in the series “The Heroes of Olympus.” In this book we get a quick recap of book three “The Son of Neptune” where Percy and Annabeth are falling into Tarturas. Soon after they landed and were in he house of Hades, they were stuck. Now Jason, Piper, Hazel, Leo, and Nico have to find out how to get them out..if they were still alive. Tarturas hold the most gruesome Titans, God, and monsters. Not only that but Gaea the Mother Earth was waking and was not happy. So the demi-gods have to escape the doors alive and destroy Gaea all before the end of summer.
When I started to read this book I instantly fell in love with it and could not keep my eyes off its pages. I got to read and believe I was in that fantasy. I am a huge Greek and Roman mythology fan so this was the perfect book for me. Both Greek and Roman demi-god camps came together for the first time to defeat this god of earth. If you enjoy reading Roman or Greek mythology and enjoy adventures, gods, demi-gods, powers, this is the perfect book for you ! I one-hundred percent recommend this book to you!
I would also recommend reading the previous three books before this book. They are equally as amazing and adventurous as this one. It is, however, a pretty big book, so be prepared and ready to read a lot. If you do choose to read The House of Hades I truly hope you enjoy it !
