Carti is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia and he originally named himself “Sir Cartier.” Carti was also born on September 13th, 1996. He started his music career in 2011 by the name of “Sir Cartier” and then in 2013 changed his name to how we know him now as “Playboi Carti.

According to culted.com, Playboi Carti had an impact on fashion because in 2016 he started liking the Supreme brand and he wore Supreme brand clothing almost everyday. Carti also gained popularity on social media because people liked his fits. Carti also wore different brands like Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Tom Ford, Rick Owens, and more. Carti was more relevant in fashion and not only music after he walked the runway at Virgil Abloh 2017, which was a debut show for Louis Vuitton.

Playboi Carti also inspired other artists. They were inspired by the electronic rage sub genre. Carti also was featured on Travis Scott’s album, “Utopia” on a song named “Fe!n.” This shows that Carti had a big impact and influence on music and fashion.
