On March 9, 2014, eighth grade SRLA runner Moises Lopez participated in the LA Marathon for the second time.

Moises said that he did better this time and faster than before. “I pumped up the other SRLA runners that ran the LA Marathon for the first time because I know what it was like.”

Running to many different places and long distances made his speed and time better. He also had experienced the marathon already so the second time running it was not challenging as before.
