A new theme park connected to childhood nostalgia is a real news angle! Many adults with children go on vacation to an amusement park. A lot of people would want to get into the PokéPark Kanto, an amusement park in Tokyo, mostly because adults want to show or see their childhood game become a reality. PokéPark Kanto is based on Pokémon, a trading/video game that has different unique versions of species. Pokemon had about 122 different varieties and the story-line is very unique.

PokéPark Kanto opened on Feb. 5, 2026, drawing families and adult Pokémon fans who want to experience a real-life version of the game. The park doesn’t really have that many rides: most things that they have were merch stores. The park also includes a forest for the visitors to walk around and exercise. In the park it has some of different species of Pokémon around to find with a guide paper to see.

The Forest is a wide-open park for people that can exercise around the whole thing. Pokémons can be found around trees or bushes. Sadly, they’re obviously not real but its nice to stop and take photos with your favorite Pokémon and hang out with friends. Many visitors that were able to see the forest get really excited due to seeing their favorite Pokémon, enjoying the time outside. Pokémon Forest is a very long walk to look around, but it gives people the chance to exercise and enjoy what is in the park.

The shops in the park sell limited-edition merchandise only available in the park, like cute Eevee and Pikachu plushies. There are also keychains, stickers, bags, pins, and shirts. Most pins are like Gacha pulls and you could get many different Pokémon pins.

There is a way to get tickets to go to the PokéPark Kanto: it’s by going on to the Poképark Kanto website.
