The story of Ruby Bridges is an amazing book based on real life events

The book Ruby Bridges is an amazing book based on real life events. It’s about a girl named Ruby Bridges who was the first African-American to go to an all-white school.

This book goes into detail about the judge ordering a group of African-American girls to be allowed to be the first to go to all white elementary schools. Ruby didn’t go with a group of girls; she went to Frantz Elementary all by herself.

There were people trying to harm her, but the president ordered marshals to go and protect her, even if they didn’t like her because she was a person of color.

Every white parent got mad and eventually everybody started taking their kids out of school, but regardless of everything Ruby continued coming to school.  Ruby even prayed for the angry mob that threatened her because she wanted god to forgive them.

Eventually a white mom got tired of seeing her kid in trouble, so she put them back in school and then more and more kids started to show up.

Ruby ended up graduating and getting married and having four kids.

Overall, I loved this book because it shows how if you stay strong, eventually you will move forward and everything would be okay. The way Ruby stayed strong really is inspiring because it shows to me that even though I might be different or “new” to a place, if I stay true to myself and ignore everybody else that has negative comments I will succeed.

If I was a person who has never read this book, I sure would give it a read because this book is inspiring and you could learn a little something from it and perceive it as something positive.
