March 2020: The start of something new
When school closed, I was very surprised. I never expected for us to be taking school online and it was something that we all had to get used to. Many things changed in the blink of an eye and everything felt so different. The whole world shut down and we all had to go into quarantine which is something we have never done before, so it felt kind of weird. The first few weeks or so weren’t as bad but as time went on many didn’t know what to do, since they weren’t able to go out anymore. I myself had to figure out ways to keep myself busy.
During quarantine, I found myself doing arts and crafts, painting, reading books, and listening to music. My favorite thing to do was to listen to music. I bought a few BTS CD’s and I found myself listening to them really loud when no one was around. I also liked when my brother played his records on his turntable because I really enjoy the music that he listens to. He has introduced me to a lot of music that I would have never found if it wasn’t for him. Once the quarantine reached the one to two month mark, it was hard not to be bored of a lot of things. Thankfully time went by fast, and now we are at that stage where things are slowly going back to normal. Little by little my family and I are going out to places, while still following Covid protocols.

I love how you showed us one of your drawings (I love it, I can barely draw a stick) and showed us some albums you and your brother listened to!
