Students who joined Students Run LA, a running program at Animo Jefferson Middle School, received new Nike Air Max shoes on Tuesday, November 26, to have good gear for practice and runs.

Eighth grader, Chris Ramirez,  felt proud and excited to receive the shoes. He said,  “I was really, really, really proud with getting the shoes.”

Last year, the students in SRLA got shoes as well, but the shoes this year have a better design and more color according to Chris Ramirez. These shoes were donated by Nike and they have been working with SRLA for around three years now. The donated shoes were for runners to be prepared for the major races.
