Long before Batman arises, the only other hero that had helped stopped corruption in the Gotham City Police Department (GCPD) was James Gordon, a commissioner  who was tired of policemen abusing their power.

The writer of Gotham is Bruno Heller. This series stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon (or as people usually call him Detective Gordon). Newly arrived to the city Gotham and partnered with GCPD veteran Harvey Bullock, played by Donal  Logue. Many characters play a role on keeping the plot moving on such as the younger version of Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee),and Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) known as  Will Smith’s wife.

Watching Gotham will give you a glimpse of the lives of the young villains that will soon be Batman’s rival. Villains such as Oswald Cobblepot(Penguin) played by Robin Lord Taylor, Selina Kyle (Catwoman), played by Camren Bicondova who was in the movie Girl House, and Edward Nygma (The Riddler) played by Cory Michael Smith. All of these people play a role in Gotham of being a potential criminal. Also Harvey Dent (Two-Face) played by Nicholas D’agosto, Ivy Pepper (Poison Ivy) played by Clare Foley.

Imdb.com, a website that rates shows and movie, states that Gotham has a rating of 8.1 stars out of 10 stars. The rating from Imdb.com shows that the show Gotham has a great plot and that it is a recommended show for everyone to watch.
