Water Balloons

Every year a water balloon fight is held outside of AJCMS on the last day of school.

Every year AJCMS holds an annual water balloon fight at the very end of the last day, but this water balloon fight is only for the seventh and sixth graders. The eighth grade class isn’t part of it for the fact that they get off two weeks earlier, but is it fair?

Alfredo Morales, eighth grader said that he believes its not fair that the eighth graders aren’t able to be part of the balloon fight. He said, “It’s our last day of seeing each other.”

Parent volunteers would come and help fill the balloons while students would be inside. They would come out to have a small battle with each other.

Kristal Olivos, eighth grader said, “All of us are going to separate schools and we want to have our own moments.”

Three, two, one and throw! It would be a chance to make some last memories.

Eighth grade student, Isamar Saligan said, “I think eighth graders should be part of it since its our last year.”

There would be bins full of water balloons on each side of the sidewalk the sidewalk near the school and the sidewalk in front of the school, and then students wait for the count down.

“I think that we should have a water balloon fight for only 8th graders,” said Maria Moran, eighth grader. If the eighth graders had their own water balloon fight would it be better? In fact, should 8th graders be invited to the balloon fight even if they do not come to school that day?
